Uganda Missions Trip
- Who: You are invited to be part of a team. No skill is too little; no one called is too young. We believe for those who do have a call and skill in video production, as your talents will help lead others and be very effective for more children on the trip. The whole Schmidt family will be leading the trip, so young people are welcome, as are their parents.
- What: This is a 2-week pilot program to produce content for individual web pages for each orphan. Each "producer" will be able to accomplish production for ten children. This content will be processed by AMFB into web pages. Web pages will be parked on church and ministry sites for reference to the members of the church. Links will attach the web pages to the children?s providers and launch the relationships as people commit to helping the destiny of each child. Each producer should be able to generate the potential for $8,600 in support of the orphans they will cover.
- Where: Kampala, Uganda is both the place where God s moving and the place of great need with orphans. We will scratch the surface of what are more than 1.3 million orphans in that nation. We will base in Kampala, but you may be going out to other areas where orphan ministries work.
- When: We depart New Jersey on May 24th, 2007 and return June 8th, 2007. You will need to Contact Shelly Prosch at 1-866-677-8758 to confirm all of your travel details as well as the round trip to New Jersey. We may meet in New Jersey the night before to brief for the trip.
- How: The trip will cost $2,600 per person to include airfare and transfers. Food and lodging will be $25/day. The good news is that your $2,600-$3,000 investment will help change the lives and destiny of at least ten children without parents. You will also help raise $8,600 each year for their needs and future development. We will be happy to send you a vision letter to help you raise your support.
