Winter Warmth
On Saturday, December 16th, we embarked on our first Winter Warmth night outreach this year, to serve at least 100 individuals. We organized the distribution of essential items, including food, hygiene products, necessary supplies, and hand warmers.
Michael's Meal
Teamwork makes the dream work. About My Father's Business' 5th Annual Thanksgiving Michael's Meal Event was successful. A Big shout out to Harry Sherman for excellence in putting together another successful event. Much gratitude to all of our partners and volunteers and love to Michael's family, especially his sister Suzanne Brueggeman for providing beanies, scarves, and gloves for the guest and trusting us with this honor.
Thank you: Councilmember Bob Blumenfield and staff for giving us carte blanche use of your office building and providing transportation, tables, and chairs for guests.
THANK YOU, Congregation Or Ami, for providing and cooking eight turkeys!
Chef Roxie Happy Insides, Safe Parking LA, Hope the Mission aka Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, FISH of West Valley Community Resource Center, Art Of Expression Jenni Alpert, Rotary Club of Woodland Hills, Pepperdine University Pepperdine Community Engagement Services and San Fernando Valley Community Mental Health Center, Inc. for volunteering, promoting the event, providing this meal with live entertainment with us in Michael Owens honor at his place of work.
